Local government purchasing is a team sport with a host of influencers and decision makers. And what these stakeholders care about varies from role to role.
So instead of broadcasting one catchall message consider creating several messages that speak directly to the problem your solution solves for the roles you’re targeting.
For example, let’s say you’re marketing and selling a pothole reporting app:
- The City Manager wants to know how the app will improve the quality of life for residents.
- While the Public Works Director wants to know how work orders will be managed and tracked.
- And finally, the IT Director wants to know about data security and technical support.
By selecting the following roles individually you can then download filtered lists based on what officials do and speak to what they care about.
